 Mason is tempting, charming, sexy, and hard to resist. He is determined to get the girl, and the baby if there is one. He's just got to catch her first and convince he that it could be good...not terrifying. I adored Mason. He was the ultimate good guy who would do anything for the woman he wants. He was much more open and in tune with his feelings. He made me swoon. Bren was a bit frustrating with her avoidance, but I could also understand where her fears came from. But she did not make anything easy for him. But they had so much sexual tension and chemistry between them. And when she would relax and give in a little,  they were good together.

This was funny, passionate, sweet, heartwarming, and just a bit angsty. They had some challenges to face that were unexpected after a one-nighter. I had a few questions about some of the plot points, but there were some surprises and it was not predictable. There is more to it than I was expecting. It was told in both points of view and I loved getting into their heads. I liked the side characters of his partner, Trent, and her boss, Mandy. I enjoyed the plot of this one and how it progressed. This one is my favorite story of this rom com series.

Sometimes a book comes along at just the right time. This was just that sort of book for me.

When her one night stand turns into a possible pregnancy, and her new OB-GYN turns out to be her one night stand, Bren is in for more than she bargained for.

I loved Mason from almost the minute we meet him. He has a way about him that calms Bren even in all the crazy she is feeling. His outlook on the pregnancy, on their connection, and on taking things slowly made him such a fun hero to read.

But Bren has a fear of being left behind and hurt, and isn’t interested in a serious relationship. Mason has a long hill to climb to convince her that he is serious and isn’t going to go away.

There chemistry and connection are quick, but with a possible baby between them, I love how they faced building a relationship independent of a new addition. As the book progressed, their determination to do things because they were truly interested and not because they had a baby on the way made the bond between them that much stronger.

This was such a refreshing read. I sat down to start and read it in nearly one sitting. It was fun, and light, while mixing in a great deal of emotional power. Bren and Mason didn’t have an easy course, but I loved every minute of watching them find their way. Both characters narrate so readers get a good sense of each character’s feelings along the way. I found this book difficult to put down, and am glad I could read it with few interruptions!
